UJIG
The project was born at the clinics "Berklee College of Music at Umbria Jazz" in Perugia in 2014. The intent is to form an international group and combine different backgrounds and experiences in a project melting genres from jazz to rock while maintaining an European identity.
The group is composed by Konstantin Kräutler, Edoardo Maggioni, Marco Leo and Cesare Pizzetti.
In December 2014 started the recording of the first album of original material,
The live offers a repertoire that ranges from the classics to unpublished fusion.
All components have been working in the world of professional music for years with experience in different areas of music.

Konstantin Kräutler (Drums- Austria)
Multifaceted drummer of Vienna. He graduated from the Conservatory of Vienna with both Instruments and teaching (both diplomas with honors), has studied with several teachers: in New York - with Peter Retzlaff, in Swiss - masterclasses with Jojo Mayer, in Perugia to Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics where he won a Scholarship of$ 14.000 . He plays in different formations from jazz to rock both in the studio and on tour. He Teaches in various schools in Vienna. He recently collaborated Bob Robinson for the production release "in Chelsea" and with the Lise Huber Trio.
Edoardo Maggioni (Piano and keyboards - Italy)
He studied jazz piano with the maestro Marco Detto and Massimo Annoni. He studied at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" in Milan, with the masters Attilio Zanchi, Tino Tracanna, Massimo Colombo, Gregory Burk.
He has worked with various groups pop, hip-hop, fusion and jazz as a keyboardist and pianist, with whom he participated in several live, working, among the others, with Paolo Tomelleri, Tormento, Big Fish, Sottotono, Ghemon.
He is multifaceted, ranging from the specialization in Gregorian chant, semiology and paleography, to collaboration with other organ polyphonic choirs.
Marco Leo (Guitar-Italy)
He studied electric guitar and composition with the great masters of the jazz / blues including Gigi Cifarelli, Roberto Cecchetto, Giorgio Cocilovo, Claudio Bazzarri, Fabio Jegher.
Over the years he has worked as a session musician (studio and Live sessions) with several Italian artists: Marco Baroni, Francesco Rapetti Mogol, Simonluca, Fabio Roveroni, Gerardo Gargiulo, Patrizia Cirulli.
He worked for RAI writing the music for a Radio Drama “Chat” with Kabir Bedi and collaborates with Mediaset and RTI in the composition of music for broadcast and television series. He Writes the music for a Tv Series ”Me and Margherita”.
Some song were used on italian movies too. He plays with various Jazz and Fusion groups in Milan.
Cesare Pizzetti (Double bass-Italy)
He studied bass and double bass with teachers like Giacomo Lampugnani and Camillo Bellinato. He studied at the Conservatory "G. Puccini" in La Spezia with the master Gabriele Ragghianti.
Over the years he worked with a lot of different artists as stage musician and session musician. He has a large experience in live music: he played in different musical companies and orchestras. Amongst the others he works and worked with Tullio De Piscopo, Arthur Miles, Tony Dallara, Bassi Maestro, Colle der Fomento, Jack the Smoker.
From 2002 is teacher in NAM music school, in Milan.
